How are kayaks shipped to my residence?
Due to their size, kayaks are shipped via specialized freight carriers. Once your order reaches the local terminal, the carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery window. A signature is required upon arrival.
What is your return policy for large items?
We offer a 30-day return policy. Items must be in new, unused condition. Please note that customers are responsible for return freight costs, which can be significant for hardshell kayaks.
How do I find the Serial Number (HIN) on my kayak?
The Hull Identification Number (HIN) is located on the starboard (right) side of the boat, near the stern (rear). It is engraved into the plastic and is required for registering your warranty.
Do you offer financing for high-performance models?
Yes, we partner with specialized payment providers to offer installment plans. You can select the financing option at checkout to see if you qualify for monthly payments.
What kind of warranty comes with a Perception Kayak?
Our kayaks feature a limited lifetime warranty on the hull and a one-year warranty on parts and accessories against manufacturing defects. Normal wear and tear or UV damage are not covered.
How should I store my kayak during the off-season?
Store your kayak in a shaded area away from direct sunlight. We recommend using a cockpit cover and storing the boat hull-side up on racks or suspended by wide straps to prevent hull deformation.
